The development team chose Urban Engineers, Inc., to handle the surveying and civil design aspects of
this 30,000-sf medical office building in north Cobb County. Urban Engineer, Inc.’s vast experience in
medical offices design as well as our good relationship with Cobb County, made us a logical choice as the
design professionals. Urban Engineers, Inc. performed the entire civil design, which included mass
grading and the installation of public utilities to handle three separate parcels (the Resurgens site and
two out-parcels). Additionally, the storm-water facility was designed for full development conditions
allowing the out-parcels to be marketed at a higher per-acre price. The construction documents for the
first out-parcel building was likewise generated by Urban Engineers, Inc., and as surveyors, Urban
Engineers, Inc. created the final subdivision plat for this development, as well as all required as-built
drawings.
